Cockatiels:

We have 4 adorable cockatiels which, in our opinion, is the perfect pet bird.  They are small enough to travel with, quiet enough for apartments, and most love to be handled.  They are whistlers extraordinaire and some even talk!

Mitred Conure:

Chip is an adult male, age unknown.  He is shy, beautiful, smart, jealous, cooperative.  Will bite if jealous or angry, but seldom.  Would love his own person & with more attention, could be an awesome bird.  Not for a beginner unless very committed.  Chip can be noisy at times, but not often.

Nanday Conures:

All conures can be loud.  Nanday's are some of the loudest.  Both Nanday's here are female, both are adults.  Petrie's age is unknown. Cappy is 6-7 years old.  Both are cagemates and are handleable, but would be more so if separated.  Cappy overpreens Petrie and has given her a bare tummy.  Petrie talks.

White-eye Conures:

We have two:  Sam (female) is an adult, cute as a button, talks and though she lives with Baby (male), they don't appear to be bonded.  Sam likes people; Baby prefers men, but will go to females as soon as she learns to trust you.  Both talk.

Blue & Gold Macaw:

"Halon", is a very handleable, but emotionally very needy female Macaw. Experience with Macaws preferred.  A feather-chewer, although most feather-chewing has ceased.  Needs lots of positive reinforcement, attention and respect.  Would blossom as #1 bird in household or as a single bird of handler who understands macaws.  She loves to have foot massages.

Red Lored Amazon:

"Fred" is a wild caught female approximately 20 years old.  She adores men.

Red Lored Amazon:

"Chica" is a wild caught female. Age unknown.

"Goldi" is a female Blue & Gold Macaw.  A happy, funny bird. Loves to be handled, danced with and kissed.  Laughs while she's eating.  Was a plucker; most feathers have regrown.

Military Macaw:

"Betsy" is an adult female (maybe 10 yrs old).  She came from 4 years of abuse and requires an experienced macaw person.  I think if she were separated from the other macaws here, she would make a good companion.  She has been here for almost 3 years and improves everyday in her trust of humans.  Loves to go outside to play in the sunshine and to hang out with the male B&Gs- a bit of a hussy!

Hahn's Macaws: ~  "Bogey & Bucky"

A bonded pair of tiny Hahn's Macaws who never bred.  They both have naked tummys, but are sooo cute.  When you feed them, they ALWAYS say, "Thank you" and ask for a "peanut". Bogey was a companion years ago and will step up; Bucky is very fearful of hands still, but we're working on it.  They are probably 10+ years old.

  "Quork" ~ Scarlet Macaw

A beautiful Scarlet Macaw.  He is the epitome  of a scarlet - funny, show-off, gives kisses, occassionally nippy.  Quork was in an abusive situation for 4 yrs.  Probably around 10 yrs. old.  Quork has all of his feathers now and is so beautiful.

Indian Hill Mynah:

"Monique" is a free spirit who rules the household in winter and spends her summers in a large outdoor flight.  She is not up for adoption, as she is not hand- tamed.

Cluck ~ Yellow Front Amazon

A lovely wild-caught, 18 yr old amazon.  She lived with an older gentleman & his wife until the wife died and the gentleman had to move across country to a small apartment.  Cluck was well loved.  I promised her owner Miss Cluck would get a walnut every evening and she does.  Clucks, but I've never heard her speak.

Sunny ~ Blue & Gold Macaw

About 3 years old and a real character.  Hard-headed, but gentle and smart.  Good vocabulary.  Closet talker.

Jasper ~ Blue & Gold Macaw

"Jabba-Jabba" loves to be tickled on his tummy & FEET.  He says, "tickle, what are you doing?, Whatcha got? I love you."  Very sweet B&G.  Young adult.  Came from a loving family.  Previous owner would like to stay in touch with Jasper.

Simon ~ Nanday Conure

Tame female, approximately 7 years old.  Generally quiet and good disposition but needs TLC after neglect.  Will step-up and tries to talk.  May say a few words with training.  Nice bird who desperately wants to be a part of the family.  Likes to chase water in the sink!

Budgies:  (Pictures soon)

We have 3 adorable budgies  Small enough to travel with, quiet enough for apartments, and most love to be handled.
